National Event for the recruitment of 15 young adults in Spain
Last December it was held in La Verneda School a second National Event for the creation of a new national work team in order to start another participatory process organised by Àgora and Facepa.
Participatory process in Bulgaria: First sessions
On October 1 in the building of primary school “P. Hilendarski” in the town of Gorna Oryahovitsa, Bulgaria was set the start of a series of meetings – discussions with young parents in a situation of social risk on EDU_FIN project .

Participatory process in Bulgaria: First sessions
The meetings were attended by young Roma women, who enthusiastically discussed what financial literacy is and why it is important. Participants completed a questionnaire in which they indicated various topics in financial literacy that were interesting and important to them and who wished to obtain more information. Among the topics were: Insurance and insurance type, entrepreneurship and how to start your own business, to whom we turn when we are not happy with a service; how to plan your family budget, how to increase their income and others.
Five meetings were held until January 2016, within which with the assistance of the participants were developed financial literacy issues that will form the future curriculum on financial literacy.

EDUFIN: Project noted for their good practices
This fantastic news we have received from the Spanish Service for Internationalization of Education (SEPIE) who told us that, “on the occasion of the celebration of the annual meetings of Erasmus + Broadcasting, have chosen the project Developing participative Processes for the generation of a financial education curricula addressed to young adults at risk (2014-1-ES01-KA204-004748) as an example of good practice of strategic partnership in the field of adult education.”
One reason for selecting EDUFIN is the idea that our experience
“can be inspiring for other future projects in the area of Key Action 2 (adult education sector) European Erasmus + program.” Therefore we have been invited to perform make a brief presentation of the project at the meeting that will take place on December 10th at the Circulo de Bellas Artes in Madrid.
At that time mainly we will explain the general approach of the project, how it connects with the needs of the center and some recommendations that could be useful to the participants in the conference.

Spain and Bulgaria have started their participatory processes
Agora and Facepa Associations began in September participatory process with a group of young people who are trained in the Foundation Els tres Turons in Barcelona.
The 20 young adults are actively involved in the discussion of issues such as budget, bank accounts, online scams, and others. (more…)
We celebrated our II EDUFIN transnational meeting at Warwick University, UK
During October 21st and 22nd 2015, technicians and researchers of the EDUFIN project met to review the status of the project, the results of the National Reports, and the quality criteria of the project to plan the next stage corresponding to the Participatory Process.
